This project represented a major upgrade to a 30-year-old ceramic tiled floor using a smart, hard wearing, hygienic resin system to their main reception, offices and stores. The incorporation of decorative paint flakes into the resin gives the appearance of a Terrazzo floor but without the joints, slippery surface and high material and installation costs.

With the correct preparation and the right tools, the original tiles were retained, saving considerable time and cost having to remove them. Damaged, cracked and missing tiles were repaired and filled and the new fast curing seamless resin floor laid, all completed in an 8-hour shift ‘out of hours’ to minimum disruption to their busy practise.
